SEMView is SEMTech Solution's third generation digital image acquistion system. This system actively controls the scan to provide up to 8k x 8k digital images. The software user interface is Win7TM compatible and comes complete with measurement and image processing functions. An added option is ShareView, which allows screen sharing of the SEM's monitor over the internet in real time for team project collaboration.

Using SEM based e-beam lithography, NanoMaker details an approach for creating full-color digital holograms. The approach is based on a variation of duty cycle and size of gratings for proper R, G, B intensities; much like in a color TV. The complete paper can be downloaded here.

This new software will allow most SEM operations to be run via a mouse. No need for buttons and dials!

On July 1st, SEMTech Solutions will raffle one SEM Sample Holder for Electron Beam Lithgraphy applications. If you are currently performing EBL on your SEM and would like a new sample holder, fill out and return the SEM Sample Holder Form by June 30th. It's that simple. SEMTech Solutions has recently introduced an Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) sample holder for scanning electron microscopes (SEMs). The major benefit of this holder is that the Faraday cup and resolution standard (Au/C or Sn/C) is in the same focal plane as the sample, which maximizes EBL performance. This holder has been designed to interface with most SEMs that have a X,Y stage movement of +/- 25mm. This holder can accept sample sizes from 5mm to over 15mm, with a maximum thickness of 2mm.
