Senior Technical Support Manager Position

Job Description:

  • Use design software and computer-assisted engineering to resolve issues by modifying the electron beam lithography system.
  • Confer with engineers in Japan, customers, and vendors in the US, to discuss engineering projects related to the electron beam lithography system.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding their electron beam lithography system, including application support to users regarding system operation, application development, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Recommend repair or design modifications of electronics components or systems, in the electron beam lithography system, based on factors such as environment, service, cost, or system capabilities.
  • Develop or perform operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, or systems
  • Modify, maintain, or repair Elionix electron beam lithography systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Educate users for enhancing their understanding of system operation, application techniques, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Set up and operate specialized or standard test equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on Elionix electron beam lithography systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Replace defective components or parts, using hand tools and precision instruments.
  • Create and update documentation, including technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate activities with manufacturing, installing, maintenance, operation, of the electron beam lithography system.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in electrical or electronics engineering, physics or a related field, and two years of experience in the job offered or in servicing electron beam lithography systems.

Travel:    Generally, one week per month to customer sites located in the United States.

Hours:                        40/week, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.         

Worksite:                   Remote nationwide
